Christian Pilgrimage
Christianity is the second oldest Abrahamic religion after Judaism, and history goes back to the Prophet Adam (PBUH), the first human being and the first Prophet of Humanity. Since then, many prophets came, including Prophet Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (Peace be upon them all), and delivered the monotheist to world humanity. Jewish, Christians, and Muslims are the people of the Abrahamic faith who all agree and believe in the Prophet Abraham (PBUH), who established the foundation of the Abrahamic faith.
People of communities and his own family, due to his rejection and reasoning on idol worship. The entire life of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) has been packed with struggles and trials. God almighty tested him many times, and one of the most famous events occurred when Prophet Abraham (PBUH) was ordered to sacrifice his dear son. Prophet Abraham's sacrifice has been one of the holiest events in history and became part of Jewish and Muslim traditions in the Pilgrimage. Jewish visit Jerusalem to fulfill their spiritual and religious obligations, while Muslims go to Mecca to accomplish one of the Pillars of Islam. Briefly, Prophet Abraham was raised in a family and village where most people, including his father, were idol worshippers. Prophet Abraham (PBUH) was thrown into the fire by the people of the village and his family.
Christians think of holiness as primarily a term referring to God rather than places and objects. Though Eretz Israel, "the holy land," and Jerusalem, "the holy city," attract reverence and devotion from Christian pilgrims, there is no emphasis in the New Testament on sacred territory. The idea that Eretz Israel is a plot of land set aside by the God of Israel for His exclusive purposes is a tenet of orthodox Jewish belief derived from the Old Testament. Christians do not deny this value system or tend to affirm it as part of their heritage and calling.
How Christian performs Pilgrimage?; Christian pilgrimage does not have any specific rituals to follow, rather includes visiting places which are historically significant in the Jewish and Biblical text perspective. Christians visit places in connection to the life history of Jesus (PBUH) including their birth, miracles he performed, teachings he delivered, worships and prayer he performed. Christian believe in the old testament which is the text Jewish follow, and that's the reason, Christian follow some of the religious traditions from Jewish.
TEMPLE OF MOUNT
It is a most sacred place for Jewish, Christians, and Muslims as comprehensive religious history has been hidden in this spiritual location. For Jewish, it is called Har HaMoriyah (Mount Moriah) and Har HaBayit (Temple Mount), and to Muslims, called Haram al-Sharif (the Sacred Noble Sanctuary) and, is considered the third holiest place after the city of Mecca & Madina, due to the centuries of conflicts for the temple, separate entries and regions prescribed for pilgrims and visitors. The Jerusalem Islamic Waqf, a trust, was established in 1187 to manage the Islamic structures in Jerusalem. Christians believe that the "Temple is in us, and that is true, But that inner Temple is what draws us to the Temple of Jerusalem." The Zionist Christians emphasize the essentiality of connections to the Temple as an important aspect of Christianity. Refers to Bible Isaiah 56:7 states that "Even them will I bring to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine, a house shall be called a house of prayer for all people."
